Wondering how to reach there independently while keeping your budget in check? 

We recommend taking a taxi to Chengdu Dong Station (成都东站). Purchase a bullet - train ticket (trains depart every 15 minutes for Leshan) to Leshan Station (乐山站). Subsequently, hail another taxi to the Leshan Giant Buddha. The round - trip transportation cost is roughly 150 RMB, subject to the distance of your hotel from the stations. (All transportation costs are your responsibility.)
