Tour Details

Chengdu has implemented a 144 - hour visa - free entry policy for 54 nationalities and a 24 - hour visa - free entry policy applicable to all nationalities! This enables foreigners to take advantage of the opportunity to experience a layover trip in Chengdu. 


Your private guide and driver will be waiting for you at the airport exit, holding a sign with your name on it. They will monitor your arrival flight based on the flight number you provide and keep track of its actual arrival time. After you claim all your luggage, they will be there to greet you. 


NOTE

Chengdu Customs requires that the layover time between two flights should be over 12 hours. 


It usually takes about 1 hour from the landing of your international flight at Chengdu airport until you meet us at the designated meeting point. 

The procedures include: 

Flight landing. 

Inspection & Quarantine (for those applying for the 24 - 144 - hour visa - free entry). 

Baggage claim (which may be less of a concern for layover passengers). 

Customs inspection. 

Exiting the airport to meet us. 

They will assist you with your luggage, lead you to the parking lot to board the vehicle, and then start the tour according to your booking. 

You can choose to explore the highlights of downtown Chengdu either during the day or at night. Daytime  options include the Chengdu Panda Breeding Base, People's Park, Kuanzhai Alleys, Jinli Cultural Street. You can also savor delicious Sichuan cuisine such as Sichuan Hot Pot, Sichuan skewers, BBQ, dim sum, and street snacks, paired with beer and sodas. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to the airport.
