The Longmen Grottoes stretch for approximately 1,094 yards along both banks of the Yi River and are around 12 km from Luoyang city. It stands as one of the three most precious Buddhist cave and rock - carving sites in China.

After a satisfying lunch, you'll pay a visit to the White Horse Temple. Initially established in 64 AD during the Eastern Han Dynasty, the White Horse Temple holds the distinction of being the first Buddhist temple in China. Today, it has become a highly popular tourist attraction in Luoyang, owing to its numerous ancient architectures, precious Buddhist statues, and serene environment. Here, you can anticipate seeing a variety of Chinese and international - style temples, valuable statues, and unique sculptures.
