Tour Details

First stop: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China

At 9am, your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Wulingyuan Scenic Area, where Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located, to visit its two most classic and popular attractions.

Duration: 3 hours

Second stop: Tianzi Mountain
Upon boarding the cable car to ascend Tianzi Mountain, you will be presented with expansive vistas of imposing and peculiarly - shaped peaks rising majestically. As you proceed along the stairways, the breathtaking scenery will gradually unfurl before your eyes from various perspectives.

Duration: 2 hours

Third stop: Yuanjiajie

In the afternoon, take a public shuttle to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, famed as the inspiration for Avatar's Hallelujah Mountain. Walk the trails for about an hour, then shuttle to the cable car to descend. Your trip ends around 5 pm, with drop - off at your Zhangjiajie city - center hotel. Train - station transfer for departing trains is available.

Another downhill option is the Bailong Elevator, a cliff - side glass elevator that claims to be the world's tallest of its kind. The ride takes just 2 minutes, but peak - time waits can be 1 - 2 hours. If interested, inform your guide in advance to skip the queues.
